Aurora and Rhodri come to visit

Michael had a lot of fun playing with Rhodri. Rhodri is about 5 months younger than Michael, but that didn't seem to matter. In fact, as soon as Rhodri got into the pool and started to splash, as one would expect a kid to do, Michael immediately moved to a higher and dryer location.

Michael is now walking, and hard to keep track of: especially in the garden jungle. He loves to eat strawberries and tomatoes and is remarkably good at picking the fruit and not the leaves. (Sometimes the fruit is ripe and ready to pick too!!)

In fact he found and ate the first strawberry that was ready in the garden this june. Jeff and I both had our eye on that bright red juicy strawberry. But we were happy to see the juice running down his chin and the great big smile on his face.
